    glad its not just me…

i could actually draw a sequel. M will buy it, start to eat it and then will dump it on the kitchen table after a few bites because she has had enough…

Then ill come along and scoff down the rest!

This happened tonight. M asked for fudge. We bought it (without my hysteria in this instance fortunately). M had one bite and decided it was too sweet. I ate it all… because… well because it was fudge and was too sweet.

    Hi Arun,

I just stopped by to have a lovely visit at your webstie and found these fantastic cartoons. You are sooo clever! The food one is really fantastic. One I think all of us, moving along to the radical unschoolers end, can relate to. I was just saying to a friend how cool it would be to use your cartoon as the starter for a discussion topic on food and RU.

Hey, if I ever get a book published will you do the cartoons for it? Actually, I imagine you’ll be doing your own book soon…..:)

    love Kim

phew, when i posted this i thought, “maybe this is just me”.

thanks Ginger & Angela… its nice to know that there are a few more banana smoothies with my name on them, even if i do have to go half way accross the world to get them (hmm not so good for food miles hey?)

and thanks kim, i hope that means there is a book in the pipe line for you? That would be very cool!

I am actually slowly starting to write a book (at this stage happening in my brain in the shower, on the toilet and long drives) but its actually a science fiction one with very little to do with parenting (well i guess pretty much all of the characters have parents though!).

I dont think I could bare a whole book about my neurotic attempts at alternative parenting & unschooling… way too painful to wade through ;)

    Hi Arun!

My name is Wiwiet, I love this cartoon, and actually this is exactly what I always imagine how an unschooler mom describe in a comic strip or cartoon :-D

IF you don’t mind, I’ll add in to my multiply. with the “convincing dad” too :-)

    Hiya Arun,
    I love your website!

I have included this cartoon in our latest issue of Rotorua Parents Centre newsletter, Pitter Patter. I am sorry I cannot do a link to a printed newsletter but will include your website address for all and sundry to visit. And, of course, if I get the pleasure to meet you I’ll make you a banana smoothie!

Thanks for the inspiration, truth and humour.
