Some good friends MM&W just emailed us one of the most tacky, inane, time wasting and plain old silly christmas web gimmicks that I have seen for ages…
so of course we had to have a go too… click this link to see us get elfed and then follow the options to do your own.
If you do your own, be sure to put in the link to your elf dance in the comments to this post so we can elf together

I love that! Here’s ours:

Love it. Thought your dog danced particularly well… and its obviously helped you feel better too Coleen
Glad u liked it Arun! What’s even funnier is that Michael doesn’t even celebrate Christmas and is anti anything commercial to do with Christmas. He still managed to get a giggle and elf himself so we could send it to you darling peoples. Who knows, maybe he’ll be dressing up as Santa next year.
no sorry guys… michael might have this external hippie thing going on but he has now exposed his closet tacky christmas elf side. He should just embrace it by dressing your house in christmas lights and giant plastic reindeer
It did make me feel better, Arun.
Putting it together was the perfect diversion for me as I’ve done nothing but feel sorry for myself these past two days! I just got back from the doctor, though, and have started on antibiotics so hopefully I’ll be up and running (or at least walking) soon.
By, the way, I think we may be spending some time down in your neck of the woods come January. It looks like my husband is going to be working in Auckland, New Zealand for a few months! I’m hoping to hop over to Australia and visit some friends there, if we do it would be great to meet up with you guys at a park or something for an afternoon. I haven’t said anything about it on my blog yet because I’m afraid I’ll jinx it.
That is so exciting Colleen! We would love to meet you in person
ill contact you direct to chat about what your plans are more shortly.
btw – this whole elf thing is getting scarey… Anne & M are talking about actually learning the dance moves and i had to wait ages to check email because M was practicing her moves in front of the screen.
Im afraid ill wake up to find a bunch of green velvet suits and red & white stripey socks…
awesome! your kids were brilliant. i think i might have to give it a go.
Ha! I can’t wait to see the live action version! It’s a pretty cute dance–you must admit. You’d better start practicing your moves.
