Unauthorised Guide for Unschooling Mums dealing with (still developing) Unschooling Dads

dadshandsI keep meeting and hearing of Mums who want to unschool & practice non coercive parenting but are having problems bringing their hubbys along for the ride. Originally I had planned to write a series of “letter to Dads”, in trying to communicate the great potential and benefits of these approaches.

I was half way through my first letter when it hit me. The Dads who I was writing too would never read it and the four or five Dads that did read it were probably already committed unschooling dads anyway.

So I back tracked and wrote a series of “tips for dealing with Unschooling Dads to be”, a users guide for Mums…. So if you are into the idea but your hubby is not, have a read of it here… It lists through hopeless generalisations of common problems and some proposed strategies on dealing with them. Good luck!

I tried tagging you earlier today, but I crashed your blog instead (I hope it only crashed for me and not the rest of the world, the rest of the world should always be able to access your blog!)

Anyhow, I’m playing a game of 8 things about me, and I want you to play to! The instructions are at my blog.
