Launched in November 2006 the parenting pit comes from a real passion about parenting & unschooling. As we navigate our own baggage and imperfections and try to grow to keep up with our children… we found ourselves accessing a range of information, books, courses and general wisdom from those around us. This site is really a reflection of that process.

In addition keep an eye out for cartoons that I tend to do which help me to deal with embracing alternative approaches to parenting, schooling and life. Its in part therapy for me but hopefully you will find it useful/ funny/ thought provoking on occasion.
